You will have until Monday to complete your Team Time Menu Items. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TURN IN THE WORK ON MONDAY DURING TEAM TIME!
Below is a copy of the menu just in case you misplaced yours. Also included is the link to the Reading assignment from yesterday.
Team Time—4th quarter Bridge to High School Science
Topic 1—Revisiting the Periodic Table—50pts

click on ATOMS; read the sections entitled ions, isotopes, bonding and compounds. Complete the quiz after each section of reading. Record your results for each quiz and if you got the questions wrong include where you made your mistake.
2.)Create a vocabulary chart to track new words: covalent bond, ionic bond, ion, and isotope. For each word include the definition, a sentence in which you utilize the word and a picture or symbol that helps you connect to the word.
3.) Work through the gizmo “Element Builder” with a partner. Each person should complete the student exploration guide and 5 questions.
4.) (TIME PERMITTING) Watch the NOVA documentary “Hunting the Elements” and complete a 3-2-1 reflection:
3 connections to in class study (either during team time or ‘regular class’)
2 new and interesting things that you learned from the video
1 topic or concept you would like to learn more about and what/why
Topic 2—Oceans and Salinity—50pts

http://www.palomar.edu/oceanography/salty_ocean.htm
For each section write a 3-5 sentence summary of the important info.
Add at least 3 new and interesting words to your vocab chart (they don't have to be JUST science!)
2.) Complete lab “Sea Water Properties.” Work with your group to complete stations that will allow you a hands on exploration of sea water properties. Completed Lab Sheet must be turned in by each person.
