Discussion Questions:
A Day Due Weds 9/12/12
B Day Due Thurs 9/13/12
When completing the discussion questions below, please remember to provide evidence from the lab activity or lesson in your answer. Write your answers in complete sentences, using the same writing strategies and skills that would make Ms.Knighton proud!!!
1. Are there any patterns that emerged in our models? Describe them in detail.
2. What parts of the astronomical models do you think represented the “real thing” well? Why?
3. What parts of the astronomical models do you think misrepresented the “real thing?” Why?
4. Why is representing the whole universe a difficult challenge?
5. What are some things (info) you need to find out to design a better model?
In addition to the discussion questions, you will be handing in your completed graphic organizer with your group's reflection at the bottom or on back!
