This week for class chatter you will be recycling the writing prompt from two weeks ago.Predator/Prey Adaptations: Describe three adaptations that predators or prey have developed to survive. Choose one of the three that you think is most effective and explain why.
Please adhere to the CCL rubric and guidelines. They are written out below and can also be found under the resources tab in your CCL account.
Exceeds the Standard- (9-10 pts)
-Answers all parts of the prompt accurately
-Applies concepts from class effectively
-well written- correct capitalization, punctuation and spelling; Topic sentence and closing sentence
-a paragraph with more than 5 sentences
Meets the standard-(7-8 pts)
-Answers most of the prompt accurately
-applies concepts from class
-few grammatical mistakes-capitalization, punctuation and spelling; topic and closing sentence
-a paragraph with at least 5 sentences
Does not meet the Standard(6pts or below)
-Prompt not answered accurately(does not answer all parts)
-Answer contains misinformation
-concepts from class not utilized in answer
-Many Grammatical mistakes
-less than 5 sentences, not written in paragraph form.
