Science Project Part 2-Setting up a valid test
Due A Day Nov 19
Due B Day Nov 20
Identify Your Finalized Topic and come up with a Testable Question.
This means that an experiment can be done to investigate this question. The experiment should allow you to collect some sort of data that you will utilize to help you in attempting to answer your question.
Identify Your Variables
In your journal identify your independent (or manipulated) variable
Identify your Dependent (or Outcome) variable.
Identify all of the things that you will need to keep constant or controlled to ensure that your results are valid.
Write your Materials List and Procedure
Identify all materials that you will need to carry out your experiment.
Develop and write a numbered step by step procedure for your experiment.Remember a valid test must be able to be replicated other scientists. Make sure that your procedure is very detailed, so that someone who has never seen or heard of your experiment would be able to carry out the exact same investigation!!!!
