Alien Mission Lab Report

B DAY Students-Your Mission Report from our lab today is Due on Tues March 13.
Please use the rubric that I provided in class to assist you while writing your report. Remember this lab is worth 40 points. Please make sure it is neat and fulfills all requirements. Be sure to pay special attention to the Conclusion. You should be using FRIES here to ensure that you are providing all of the evidence and support that a good conclusion needs to have.
You may consider the following questions while writing your report:

-What color does the bromothymol blue solution turn in the presence of carbonated
water?
-What color does the bromothymol blue solution turn after you exhale into it for
approximately two minutes?
-What do you think would happen if you put the aquatic plant into the
bromothymol blue solution?
-What gas (or gases) can bromothymol blue serve as an indicator for?
-What gas do you exhale?
-What gas do plants give off?
-How long (in seconds) did you have to exhale into the bromothymol blue solution
to elicit a color change?
-How many breaths did it take?
-Could you produce a graph that illustrates a relationship between number of
breaths exhaled into the bromothymol blue solution and the time it took for the
solution to change color?
-Compare the reactants of the photosynthesis equation to the products of the
equation for respiration. What do you notice?
-Compare the reactants of the respiration equation to the products of the
