Make sure all notes are complete that we worked on in class.
this includes:
notes from Chapter 6 section 1
This should be completed in your flip chart. The next tab up from Earthquakes will be labeled "Rock Cycle" When open, the top portion of the flip chart should include notes about the 4 properties of minerals, composition vs. texture and rock vs. mineral
The bottom portion of the flip chart should be separated into three columns. Label these columns "sedimentary rock" "igneous rock" and "metamorphic rock" Notes for each type go in the appropriate column.
In addition to these notes please be sure that you have drawn, labeled and taken notes on the rock cycle. This diagram appears on page 208 &209.
